About to get a wake up call.

They've been in domestic mode all day and most of the evening. Just heard shots or fireworks or something. Phoned it in.

Worst case, I get new neighbors.

Best case they shut the fuck up and stop doing coke or meth or whatever the hell and let me get some sleep.

Fuck you new neighbors. I want my old lady and her two cats back.

I got upstairs neighbors like that. In the first 2 months after they moved in they had the cops called once (that I saw, a second time I heard about) and were constantly yelling and arguing, slamming doors etc. We complained many times, and were promised that they were being evicted but... I guess the landlord said the lady could stay as long as her boyfriend left, since he wasn't on the lease agreement. So he disappeared for a couple months but for the past 2 weeks now he's been back. He walks loudly and talks loudly and makes phone calls about drugs loudly. It's pissing me off, I feel like there's no point in complaining anymore.

I know them feels, the couple next door to me had a fist fight in the street once, it got ugly. They seem to have calmed down recently at least. Now if only the parents who allow completely unsupervised children to play in the street til late and dent and scratch up everyones cars would sort themselves out.

When a couple is having fist fights in the street, that's a pretty serious case of domestic violence that should be dealt with properly instead of just being pushed back behind closed doors.

Thats appalling. I have never had issues with neighbours, and funny enough I live in Mexico where there is at least 1 Party/Barbecue per week in any given neighbourhood. Thing is, we live in a damned senior neighbourhood or something. I kid you not, I think my 14 year old younger brother is the youngest person living here. Besides me is an old couple, in front of me an 80 year old Chinese woman. Its nice that its quiet, but people here are upright and strict and I would never meet them.

I once had a neighbor tackle his gf through the wall into my apartment. It was in section 8 housing and I had taken to wearing earphones at all times since there was no hope of quiet in my unit.

I was sitting, playing Morrowind when all of a sudden there were two people in my room and drywall everywhere. Grabbed everything of value, went to the laundromat (I didn't have a cellphone yet) and called the cops and the super. Slept in my car the next few days until they put up a plywood divider.

My dad's been having an issue with a neighbor in his apartment. Some drunk idiot. His first night there said shitfaced shitbag was arrested for belligerence and assaulting a police officer. Then he was gone for a few months. Now the shithead is back, and still drunkenly making noise at all times of night.

I agree with you, degenerates are only good for experimentation.

Apartment complex (6-10 buildings) top floor of a 5 story walkup.

2 appartments per side 4 per floor. The building is the leftmos one in the complex and faces not only the entire complex but is directly aimed at the Superintendent building.

Crack/meth/booze/weed n hash Whiskey Tango group moves in.

Within a month.

1am. Apocalypse Now (Redux). Stereo at 11 out of 6. Windows open. No answer at door after banging the door nearly off the hinges.

5am. Cops finally come. Movie is already over. Please keep it down. Leaves. Weed smell permeates the hallway.

2 weeks later the fuzz bust a meth lab in the next building over. I live in a nice house now, with nice neighbors, zero traffic and a reasonable police presence.

I remember when I lived back in Ireland, the first place we had was an apartment in the city. Every morning when I left for school, the stairs would be covered in cigarette butts, broken glass and perhaps drug paraphernalia. One day some guy knocked on our door, asking if our next door neighbour (who was his girlfriend) was home. We knew she was, but she hadn't responded to his knocking. So we lent him a stepladder to climb up to her balcony where he could get in to see if she was OK. Turns out she'd passed out because she was drunk out of her mind. Thank God we moved to the country a few years later.

One side of my house we have quite people you never hear from they're alright. On the other side we have the house of 20 who like to block our drive way.

Now behind us. Those are the scumbag. They yell, throw their garbage in OUR yard, and steal our Raspberries off our bushes in our yard. These people have almost broken our mower because they threw wire into our yard. My mom hates those scum. Reason why she wants a fence.

I called the cops because frankly that's fucking annoying and I could smell it in the house. told them exactly who did it, they had 2 cars pull up, chat in front of his house to each other for a few minutes, then drive off like nothing happened.

I lived in a terraced house for two years and the worst neighbour I ever was a small dude, alcoholic, probably took drugs as well; would stay up all night yelling at his teenage sons in his house and us through the wall, banging on the walls, smashing shit in his house. Sometimes he'd go out on the street and yell threats there. Once he dropped the keys through our door for some reason. We dropped them back. We'd call the cops almost every night it happened (tens of times) but they never could do anything while he was in his house except have a chat. Child protection never did anything but send him a few letters. We know because one letter was accidentally put in our mailbox and we 'accidentally' opened it. Other neighbours were like "Oh, he just needs to sleep it off", "he's harmless", "he's a gentleman; what would you die if your wife died?" She died of cancer almost ten years ago. Fuckers; he had young sons he abused, there is no excuse. One time the cops did catch him outside, took him away. He put up a fight and actually went on trial for that. We moved out, he was still there. Landlord wouldn't kick him out although he'd smashed the place. This is Ireland for you.
